Superintendent Search
Godfrey-Lee Public Schools has launched a search for a new Superintendent. The Board of Education has once again selected Michigan Leadership Institute (MLI) to facilitate the process, at a Special Board Meeting that took place on April 4th. The Board hopes to start interviewing candidates in May with hopes to have selected a Superintendent to start in July. Until then, Dirk Weeldreyer is our Interim Superintendent.
Tentative Search Timeline
- Application Deadline - 4:00 PM, Friday, May 5, 2023
- Selection of candidates for first interviews - May 8, 2023
- Public Interviews - May 24 & May 25 - Special Board Meeting
- Second Round of Public Interviews - June 6 & June 7
- Site or In-District Visit - June 6 & 7 - Meet & Greet Schedule
- Start Date - as early as July 1, 2023
